Reviews of Furama Hotel Dalian

Located in a bustling area, the hotel has a cozy sitting area near the mezzanine restaurant entrance. It is close to a few sightseeing spots and offers a good breakfast spread with a nice view. The rooms are well-maintained with modern amenities and comfortable bedding. The clean and well-equipped bathrooms come with advanced features like an automatic toilet. The gym has plenty of modern machines and free weights, while the Italian staff is very helpful in providing exceptional service.
Some of the Chinese receptionists could be a little rude and have a limited command of English.

The decoration is excellent. All the main sights, including zhongshan square are close to the hotel. One could dine at restaurants such as icafe 15 minutes away

The location of this hotel was excellent, situated in the city center with adjacent transportation options. We appreciated the cleanliness and availability of hotel facilities, including the spacious gym. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options and we found the staff to be friendly and helpful.
Nothing at all.

The room was modern, roomy and comfortable. It was convenient for our meetings with Dalian shipping lines, many of which were based on the same road.
Hotel pool was out of order for the duration of our stay (but we were not informed at time of booking). Buffet dinner whilst good, was cleared away at 21.30 on the dot, as were all the drinks & all the seat cushions in the lounge bar. Extremely unaccommodating to business travellers and not mindful at all to the fact that these travellers have come from all over the world, looking for food/drink at times to suit. Lovely drinks menu, delivered extremely badly. Don't complain - you will not be heard. Non attentive staff made this a 3* hotel at best, pretending to be a 5*.

The rooms are extremely large and comfortable, the bathroom is world class.
Having stayed at this hotel a number of times over the years ,it is becoming in need of a facelift. Also the service in the brasserie /coffee shop is poor .Dirty plates are not cleared away quickly and the place has an image of being lethargic

Staying in the West Wing was an indulgence, the room was spacious, and the bathroom showcased luxurious fittings with deluxe amenities that fulfilled my needs. The indoor swimming pool, sauna, and spa centre were a haven for relaxation after sightseeing. We dined in the hotel’s in-house restaurant, which served a variety of food from the rich continental breakfast, gourmet food, to buffet breakfast. Our cocktails at the bar lounge provided a perfect ambiance to relax, soothing after our day's exploration.
There was a lack of prompt service provided to guests at the gym, which was pretty basic. Technical issues in some rooms led to challenges in adjusting the air conditioning, and the Wi-Fi in public areas proved slow, needing upgrading.

The hotel is well connected and located within walking distance to plenty of malls and restaurants. The room was clean and tidy with comfortable bedding. It was also nice to have tea and coffee supplies in the room. Staff was friendly and helpful in arranging a taxi ride.
The breakfast service was understaffed which meant we had to wait for quite a while before being seated and served. There also weren't enough tables available.

Spent a week at this hotel. The rooms were quite cozy and clean. Location was very good and within walking distance to local attractions. The breakfast had a decent selection of foods to choose from. The staff was friendly and accommodating during our stay.
The hotel had inconsistent Wi-Fi signal that made it difficult to stay connected. the elevators had long waits due to the number of guests during peak hours.
